I did a pairing meme for some reason O_O

I was bored, so I did a pairings meme. I'm not usually into shipping, or romance in general because it gets so damn corny, but I wanted to give this a shot.

NOTE: A good chunk of these are from my child & teen-hood

You may notice a pattern in many of these pairs. (Recently I just came to terms with being a lesbian (probably makes sense from my HS yuri-fangirl phase), and I kind of realise now that I project myself into one of the types of characters from a certain dynamic... xD)

Intriguing:

Hot and Sexy - NONE   ?!
...

Reasonable -
...

They Protect One Another - Miki Naoki & Yuki Takeya
Literally just all-heart and all-brains in a zombie apocalypse.

They Share Beliefs

Subtext - Tony & Jeff
When playing the game, I didn't think too much of it UNTIL the freakin' end scene when I read Tony's letter to Jeff. Replaying the game, I really saw it. And plus, the fan-art and really make their dynamic enjoyable to watch, where Jeff is calm, aloof and nerdy, and Tony is cheerful, flamboyant and a loyal friend while "hiding" his feelings.

Adorable - Keith Kogane & Hunk Garrett
I can forget Voltron, but my favourite character will always be Hunk. Anyways, Heith's the first pairing in years that I genuinely found sweet to the point where I felt joy seeing fan-content. I'm not kidding.

They're Alike - Prince Poo & Paula Polestar
Obviously, this isn't the only reason - there's more to them - but I needed a category. I'll first say what they have in common, though. They're both popular in their area and skilled PSI users.

They're Opposites - Gerda & the Little Robber Girl

Canon - Quitterie Raffaeli & Zack Walker

Non-Canon - Misery & Kazuma Sakamoto

Charming - Ninten & Ana, Aang & Katara
Couldn't decide it here xd
The fact that it's the only pair in the Mother series to actually 'go' canon isn't the reason, actually. I just feel like it's so genuinely sweet.

Crack - Magnet Man & Metal Man
For obvious reasons 💀

Hilarious - Globe & Candy
Their dynamic basically is: one second they're doing best friend stuff. Next thing, they're arguing over some dumb crap. Put into a romantic level, it's the typical "they drive each other crazy, but also they drive each other craaazy." ...Also, I feel like when I was little, I low-key did actually ship them and was too shy to admit it.

Tranquile -

Full Of Emotion

Unique - Ness & Prince Poo
Not very expected to see, but I think this pair has gotten some taction lately. Here we have a small-town all-Eaglelandian boy with not much to him aside from his psychic powers, and his love for baseball and burgers. And that's the guy who's caught the eyes of a crown prince from a far-away land that's separated itself from modern-western influence.

Cheesy in a Good Way - Ness & Paula Polestar
Anyone who knows what happens in either answer of the "Will you escort me home?" question... That's one of the sweetest things to happen. There's no telling if it's actually canon, but it's heavily implied.

Happened at the Right Time -

They Work Best when Together -

Has Great Potential - Luca Esposito & Ulgar Zweig

Makes the Series Better - Ladybug & Chloe/Queen Bee (Season 3)
Not really as into MLB, but... Chloe's still my favourite. They never had a chance together - let's face it - even in season 3 were Chloe was at her most sympathetic & redeemable. But it would be fun to watch the scenario of Chloe being driven nuts by Marintte, but completely admiring Ladybug to excessive points. And also, I enjoy seeing art of that one AU where Chloe getting the miraculous of the cat...

They have No One Else to Love -

Fan-art & Fan-fiction - Heihachi & Kyuzo
They hardly ever interacted in the series. But the fan-art of these two got me to like seeing the dynamic between these two.

Not Enough People Support It -

Their Conversations - Kyouko Toshinou & Yui Funami/Ayano (forgothername)
Their interactions are so funny. The way the talk to each other makes it worth the pairing xD

Shows Off Their Best Qualities

They Forgive One Another - Post-canon Avatar Aang & Prince Zuko
Needed to fit them in here somehow. ... So obviously picturing a 12 y.o with a 16 y.o is weird, so I like to imagine this is the shit they realise and grow into as adults. A one-sided crush from Aang and/or a certain 'Zuko found the avatar right after his banishment' AU are sweet, too. Anyways, it's not just the personality dynamics, or even the straight-up connected-by-fate stuff that appears in the narrative. It's the extreme depth of their relationship. Platonic or not, I always enjoy seeing these two together.
Fun-fact: these guys inspired the rivalrly between my OCs April and Eyn a lot. Especially when I decided to age Eyn down to a teenager (she was originally supposed to be portrayed as an adult).

Intriguing - Kamilla & Maizi
Blah, blah, something about toxic yuri here xD Maizi has no care for Kamilla and wants nothing more than her misery. Therefore, it's INTRIGUING XDD

Blah, blah, more toxic yuri xD Anyways,

They're Opposites - Nim & Carmen
These two were literally inspired by Gerda and the Little Robber Gril. Like, COME. ON. Of course, I'd consider pairing these two together, even if maybe not really in canon.

Canon - Ruiski & Aia
AH!

Non-Canon - April & Eyn
Classic rivals-to-lovers trope. In canon, this will likely never happen. Maybe.
